Commitment to employability  Stirling is ranked 1st in Scotland and 3rd in the UK for graduate employability, with almost 97% of our students in employment or further education six months after graduating (HESA 2016).

Sporting Excellence  We are Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence, and rank 1st in Scotland and 2nd in the UK for our five-star sports facilities (THE Student Experience Survey 2016), which include Scotland’s National Swimming Academy, the Scottish National Tennis Centre and a nine-hole golf course. Our students participate in more than 120 clubs and sports, and the University offers a range of scholarships for student athletes.

Research with impact  Our world-class academics are experts in their fields. Almost three quarters of the University’s research activity has been rated either world-leading or internationally excellent (REF2014), and we are ranked in the top 40 in the UK for research intensity.

A global outlook  Stirling is a truly global university. One in five of our students are from overseas, we have partnerships in 30+ countries and our students and staff represent more than 120 countries from across the world.

Campus life  In 2016, students rated Stirling 1st in the UK for its “good campus environment” (International Student Barometer 2016). Our stunning 330-acre campus is home to a range of five-star facilities, including newly renovated accommodation, catering outlets, shops, a thriving arts centre and even our own 18th century castle.
